The Blue Pearl is a slim women’s wood watch with a dial cut from natural mother of pearl. Its misty blue sheen shifts as the light moves, and no two dials are quite the same.

Mother of pearl holds a special place in Australian history. In the early 1900s, pearling luggers working out of Broome and the Torres Strait supplied much of the world’s shell, which became buttons, inlays and fine jewellery around the globe.

That same natural lustre now sits beneath the glass of The Blue Pearl, framed by honey-toned olive wood and bright gold-tinted steel.

Quality

Crafted by master watchmakers, The Blue Pearl runs on a Japanese Miyota quartz movement made by Citizen. Gold Roman numerals at twelve and six, with slim gold-tinted markers between them, sit beneath a scratch-resistant Hardlex crystal.

It’s a lovely dress watch for weddings and evenings out, and relaxed enough for a long lunch by the water.

Durability

Olive wood is dense and hard, with a swirling grain that makes every watch one of a kind. It has been prized around the Mediterranean for centuries, in everything from serving bowls to fine furniture.

A 304 stainless steel core reinforces the case, and the timber is seasoned and finished to protect it from moisture, perfume and hand cream. Your watch is sealed, splash and sweat resistant, so it’s just as happy at the beach as it is in the office.

Fit and Comfort

At 38 grams and 10mm thick, The Blue Pearl is light on the wrist and slips easily under a sleeve. We think it’s a beautiful fit for a slender wrist.
